dxi_1952 Soror Saniya Higgs Hailing from Tarboro NC. I am Saniya Higgs a first-generation college student with aspirations beyond the ordinary. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology,  I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning placement on the dean’s list for three consecutive years during my time at FSU. Purple is my favorite color, symbolizing my penchant for exploration, and social interaction. After graduation I intend to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fayetteville state accelerated nursing program, and a Ph.D. From UNC Pembroke. During the summer I  devote most of my time as a mentor for first-generation students and hands on contributing to the betterment of underprivileged areas, in Princeville, North Carolina.
