Yesterday, Dean Brian Schriner and Lee Caplin welcomed Congresswoman Frederica Wilson to our Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media on the FIU Biscayne Bay campus. Rep. Wilson is a decorated public servant, who has served in the School Board of Miami-Dade County, the Florida Legislature and the U.S. Congress. She is the founder of the 5,000 Role Models of Excellence program.
