Alumni Spotlight ✨ Adriana Gaviria ‘97 FIU Theatre Alumna Professional Creative Artist Artistic Producer “I would not be where I am today without my time at FIU Theatre. That’s where it ALL started for me.” We want to congratulate Adriana on her appointment as Co-Artistic Director of The Sol Project— a national theater initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices of Latiné playwrights, partnering with theaters to uplift Latiné dramatists and support the community of Latine theater artist. In her new position, Adriana will continue to lead SolFest, as she has done for the past five years. Under her leadership, SolFest has grown exponentially and fostered numerous collaborations. In addition, she will work to build bridges to new artistic relationships in support of The Sol Project’s mission of uplifting Latiné artists.
