It’s commencement week! We would like to spotlight #FIUGRAD Atiya Pitaktrakul. Atiya is not only majoring in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications, but will also graduate with a minor in Hospitality Studies. During her time at FIU, Atiya was Director of Culture for BOLD Strategic Communications Agency, Media Relations Coordinator for the Global Learning Student Board, and Public Relations Intern for the CARTA Dean's Office. She was also a 2022 Global Learning Medallion Recipient. “Looking back at my 4 years at FIU, I am immensely grateful for the opportunities, connections, and education that I was exposed to,” said Atiya. “As a student who grew up immersed in Thai Culture, FIU felt like a second home to me.
