The Milwaukee community lost a selfless leader this weekend when Dr. Michael Lovell, President of @marquetteu, died after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 57, the same age as Vince Lombardi when colon cancer claimed his life. It is a truly heartbreaking reminder of why we do what we do. Our thoughts are with Dr. Lovell's family, VLCF Board Member and Marquette’s Chief of Presidential Affairs, Kate Braasch, as well as the Marquette community during this tragic transition.
