This week lesterholtnbc visited The National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama. He spoke with author and attorney Bryan Stevenson, who created the museum through his organization eji_org, about making the history of lynching tangible for modern visitors. . . . . . Inside the memorial there is a section of soil samples collected from lynching sites around the country — and at the EJI office, there are an additional 280 jars. More at the link in our bio.
