Olympic champ in the triple jump Christian Taylor and stellar 110mH runners Aries Merritt and Jason Richardson are looking forward to competing at the High Performance meet, staged on Saturday, July 26, at 5.45pm, right after the WJCH afternoon session. "This is the best place for a track and field meet ever. You see, I can't stop smiling, because there is so much love for the sport here, amazing atmosphere during the World Juniors. I heard Eugene is bidding for the Worlds 2019 - I'm ready to support that bid!" admits Taylor. Aries Merritt thinks that having more meetings like that in the USA will help American athletes get race-sharp to perform better throughout the season, as well as will promote the sport itself. The meet program includes six individual events (men's 1500m, high jump, triple jump, 110mH, women's 100m and hammer throw) and two 4x800m relays. Admission is free with the #oregon14 Saturday ticket.
