I got a lot of comments regarding my torso not being half body in my last video! It’s very common in Shotokan style to have the body in hanmi position, but in Shito-ryu which I practiced in the past, and Ryuei-ryu which I practice now our body is facing straight. Although the name of the blocks are the same, all styles are slightly different, which makes karate interesting! 😊👍🏻
Be sure to know both Japanese and English translation for all the blocks 😊
