Since my story is getting a lot of replies, I’ll make this a post! Like, share and comment to improve karate culture.
Just a thought: I'm seeing a lot of hate and negative comments on karate post lately, including mine.
Lots of people are going around leaving negative comments and bad energy for people in the video, and the account.
People who train hard and compete hard are beautiful. Period. They're hard workers who put in the time and effort to become 1% better every day, a better karate-ka than who they were yesterday.
So whoever takes THEIR OWN SPARE TIME to post negative comments on other people's post and accounts, SHAME. ON. YOU. Out of all sports, us martial artists should know how it feels to be attacked.
The truth is, that person, including me, is improving our techniques that very moment, as you go around judging people.
What we all have in common is that we all love karate. Post THAT! Congratulate them for their confidence. Don't hate. Mind your own...
