FINALLY!! FINALLY graduated from grad school with a DOCTORATE OF PHYSICAL THERAPY! 🥼👨🏻⚕️
I was always taught by both my parents and sensei the importance of bun-bu-ryodo (文武両道). After 6 long years of balancing karate and studying, I finally finished my doctorate program. It was hours, days, and years of hard HARD work. 😬😵💫 To give you a better picture… 31 international tournaments and achieving 5th in world ranking… not bad at all 😊 I’m happy to say good bye to those late night exams and airplane studying 📚😅
Throughout the process, I am thankful that I met tons of active and future physical therapists who shared their knowledge with me. Thank you to all of you!
I’m also thankful for my family for supporting me, and convincing me to pursue both paths in both elite level athletics and education!
