Each Karate kata gi costs about $300-$350 of its imported from Japan. So I like to take good care of my gis so it lasts longer.
Pic 1: post competition. Gi was covered in sand, super muddy. I was sad because I used my best competition Gi.
Pic 2: After washing my Gi once. Still muddy with mud on my Gi.
Pic 3: I scrubbed my Gi with soap ๐งผ and scrubber to get into the small grooves of the Gi. The video is about 20 seconds but I was scrubbing for about 30 minutes. Lol I had to be patient to not scrub the Gi too hard, since that might damage the stitching.
Pic 4-5: post wash (second time). All the sand was off! Happy karate ka lol
Donโt take anything for granted, always take care of your stuff! :)
