It's National Hispanic Serving Institution Week and we are celebrating all week long with on-campus and virtual events intended to highlight what it means for UCSC to be an HSI and the many resources available to students. UCSC is one of 559 Hispanic-Serving Institutions, and one of only 20 Hispanic-Serving Research Institutions. In October 2021, UCSC was recognized as one of 35 Hispanic-Serving Institutions as a Fulbright HSI Leader because they have demonstrated noteworthy engagement with Fulbright exchange participants during the 2019–2021 academic years.
