Here we are thinking, we had nothing to post about for Father's Day that could be related to graphic design. Well, we went down a rabbit role of seeing if there were any fonts with the name of "father" in it, and so on, and found this gem: Hoosier Daddy, by Jim Parkinson. It sounds like a joke, but further down the rabbit hole, we discovered that Parkinson Type Design is a foundry you may be familiar with due to their clients, such as Variety Magazine, Esquire, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Men's Journal, Wall Street Journal.... He did all of these logos, redesigns, and lettering. He started working at Hallmark and took off from there, having a career of fifty years. Now Adobe has the license for not only Hoosier Daddy, but 14 other fonts!
