Taking care of a grown up pup is different from bouncing around with a sprightly little puppy! Still incredibly rewarding 😍 but with a new set of challenges, one of which is how to keep them moving when they maybe don't have as much energy as they used to.
Your good ol’ pup might not be able to hike mountains or run miles but exercise is still vital to keep them healthy for longer 🐶 Just go easy on them! Trying some of the following activities: can help stay active in a healthy way to keep their joints feeling great.
1) Swimming - Great for when we're feeling stiff, and for our stiff dogs too! It's light on the joints and very relaxing to do for senior canines.
2) Relaxed walks - A walk around the neighborhood is a good way to exercise your aging buddy! Match their pace and beware of the weather before taking them out for a stroll (if it's too cold or icy it might be harder for your four-legged friend)
