In 2022, Re:wild partner wireswildliferescue responded to multiple floods that devastated Australia. What should have been once-in-a-lifetime events, has now become more and more common due to the effects of our changing climate and has devastating effects for both people and wildlife. WIRES is Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organization. Each year they receive more than 200,000 calls to help rescue and care for Australian wildlife in need.
