Fact: The world needs at least 1.5 million trained & equipped rangers to effectively meet the 30x30 target. Today we have less than 20% of that number needed to protect the planet. It’s time we recognized the value of our world’s rangers!
Rangers are out in the wild, actively defending nature, sometimes even putting their lives at risk to do so. They are ecologists, landscapers, fire fighters, mediators, planners, educators and anti-poachers. They include Indigenous guardians, community scouts and park wardens.
Re:wild forges strong partnerships with rangers across the globe, ensuring efficient management and the well-being of these often unsung heroes. Through rigorous training and support, Re:wild empowers rangers to become guardians of biodiversity, enabling them to combat poaching, restore habitats, and safeguard endangered species.
