Last year's rediscovery of the Northern Haiti Magnolia gave hope to conservationists in Haiti, where deforestation has left just 1% of original forests remaining.
Despite a severe drought, haiti_national_trust has already planted 30,000 native and endemic species this year toward their goal of 80,000. And the much-awaited rain has finally arrived to support their conservation efforts.
On
#NationalLoveATree Day, let's show our appreciation for the trees that sustain us and support the Haiti National Trust's mission to rewild Haiti and restore its natural heritage!

Re:wild is grateful to yslbeauty for their support of this work and biodiversity around the world.
