⭐️ IG Takeover ⭐ ️ From conceptualization, prototyping and all the way to the final installation, Laara Cerman (laaracerman) embarked on a memorable journey to create her public art activation for the 2021 CreateSpace Residency. As part of her IG takeover, check out her reflection on the project: “This was a challenging project in so many ways. I had to learn a new medium of brazing brass, all on my own, which I did through reading books and watching YouTube videos, hoping I don’t injure myself!! (No injuries here.) And then my dad passed away unexpectedly at the start of me working on this so I had a massive mountain of grief to overcome, trying to get back to being a functioning human again, all the while navigating life in the midst of a global pandemic.
