The other interpretations were beautiful – but too old fashioned. I wanted to do the song the way I felt it. You know the bit where I go “wow”! That is after the music starts you become aware of the mood of the song – and then you just have to go “wow”. Even though it was a ballad and I loved it as that, I felt the tune could be done in the form of rejoicing in meeting someone who needed me.
