Let’s talk about it!!🗣️🗣️🗣️ While it is amazing that those of us in the wedding industry are able to use our work as content to grow our business, it makes it easy to forget the main focus that the wedding is a celebration of a couple and their union together❤️ This is not to say that content does not matter or should not be prioritized on a wedding day. Not being able to get proper behind the scenes content should not affect how well you do at the wedding (in whatever role you play…wedding decorator, planner, photographer, Dj, etc) For me- on select weddings where I know I want to have content to post for the gram and if the budget allows it, I will hire a content creator to document our BTS of the couples shoot, bridals and wedding ceremonies so I don’t have to think about it and can have content to post on my social media platforms❤️ When I’m photographing a wedding- I’m so in the zone that I completely forget to pull out my phone.
