#Throwback to 1975 when Mother Teresa of Calcutta made a statement at the World Conference on Women in #Mexico. For over 45 years, Mother Teresa worked for the poor, sick, orphaned and dying. She received the nobelprize_org for Peace in 1979 for her charitable work. Her selflessness helped inspire the creation of Tuesday's International #CharityDay - the anniversary of her passing. Show your support by thanking all those who are doing their part to make the world a better place. Tell us in the comments who you’d like to thank! 📷: UN Photo / B Lane #GlobalGoals
