Thursday is the International Day for People of African Descent, an opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of the African diaspora around the world and recommit to eliminating all forms of discrimination against people of #AfricanDescent. “Today and every day, we must continue to speak out against all ideas of racial superiority, and work tirelessly to free all societies from the blight of racism,” said #UnitedNations Secretary-General antonioguterres . From speaking up and spreading words of tolerance and compassion to engaging in constructive discussions and volunteering in support of vulnerable groups, all of us can do our part to #StandUp4HumanRights and #FightRacism, discrimination and hatred.
