A giraffe 🦒 roams freely in the Maasai Mara National Reservation, #Kenya. Giraffes play a key role in ecosystems. They help the growth of flora and fauna by eating the upper regions of plants to let light through. Yet, habitat degradation & loss as well as illegal hunting threaten these valuable species. The unrestricted exploitation of wildlife has led to the disappearance of many animal species, threatening Earth's biological diversity and upsetting the ecological balance.
