"In 2016, we fled South Sudan because of the civil war, we became refugees in Sudan, we wanted safety. Now we flee again, back to our home. We fled once, now we flee again." Malual and his family were #ForcedToFlee South Sudan. They thought they had found safety in Sudan, but when recent fighting broke out, they had to flee again. They are not alone. Due to the escalating violence in Sudan, thousands of refugees are now trying to return to their home countries, even as the instability continues. Our colleagues from the #UnitedNations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) are on the ground providing lifesaving aid, including food, medicine and clean water, and assisting refugees and returnees leaving Sudan.
