1,000 children under 5-years-old die every day because of unclean water and lack of access to basic hygiene and sanitation services. And a quarter of the global population – 2 billion people – use unsafe drinking water sources. This week, world leaders came together at #UnitedNations Headquarters in #NYC for the UN Water conference to share solutions to the global water crisis, which poses a threat to us all. Without a functioning, resilient water cycle, human health and environmental integrity will be threatened, and the most vulnerable, especially children, will suffer the most.
