Clean water is a human right, not a privilege. Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being. Yet, 2 billion people still lack access to safe drinking water. In addition, countries are facing growing challenges linked to under-investment in water and sanitation and insufficient cooperation on transboundary waters. This month’s #UnitedNations #WaterAction conference is an opportunity to find solutions to ensure all people, everywhere have access to clean & safe water.
