Meet karimotodebode, from #Nigeria, one of our 17 new #SDGYoungLeaders from around the world, recognised for their contributions to the achievement of the #GlobalGoals. Karimot is an award-winning poet who uses her poetry to call for a safer, more sustainable world for everyone, especially girls and women. She is the founder of Black Girl’s Dream Initiative, a youth-led organization working to close the gender gap in education and promote inclusion through arts, technology, sports and more. The Young Leaders for the Global Goals, convened every two years by the unyouthenvoy, come from many different backgrounds & regions, and are helping tackle the world's most pressing challenges to achieve a more sustainable and peaceful future. 📸: David Adetola Photography
