I can’t tell you how many kids I’ve encountered who sit on social media day in and day out, comparing themselves to kids on the internet without having any context! I see it every year, kids get caught up in rankings and player profiles and offers, a lot of you just want to put something in your bio just to show other kids. It’s a wild concept and I see the parents feeding into every year! It’s unfortunate that ALOT of you do this and think you’re supposed be doing things a certain way and in a certain time frame! Please please take your time being a kid and enjoying your sport and let the game come to you. The basics will take you FAR! Being a well rounded athlete in all aspects is the key! I CAN confidently tell you that being the #1 kid in your class in 7th , 8th , 9th grade doesn’t NOT correlate to you being a #1 draft pick! Enjoy being a kid and developing into a great player!
