This tropical rainstorm is designated Potential Tropical Cyclone One by the National Hurricane Center and is projected to become the first named tropical storm of the Atlantic season before making landfall in northeastern Mexico early Thursday morning. If it becomes a tropical storm, it will be given the name Alberto.
