“I walk with pride because visibility and activism matter. For too many years of my life, I did not walk with pride. I felt shame for who I was. And felt that being open about my sexual orientation would have a negative affect on my career and relationships. I finally had the courage in 2016 to come out and it has been liberating and freeing. And now I walk with pride because there is nothing to be ashamed of. I am me. And I am proud of who I am and my sexual orientation is only one aspect of who I am. Being my authentic self has led to more genuine connections and greater self confidence and greater self love and love for others. Love is love. And love is always the right choice.” johnnyhebda Thank you Johnny for sharing why you #walkwithpride! 🏳️‍🌈🌈 photocollectivestudios slcpride2024
