❓What historical figure would you like to be friends with? 🅰️If I could be friends with one historical figure I would choose Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is arguably the greatest leader our nation has ever seen. Roosevelt led the United States through some of the toughest times in our country’s history, including the Great Depression and World War 2. Not only did he restore our country’s confidence through various fireside chats, he also led the USA to victory over Nazi Germany. Honestly, one of the main reasons I feel a connection with him is the fact he spent most of his adult life in a wheelchair. Roosevelt, who was left paralyzed from polio, was able to overcome his disability and establish the United States’ leadership on the world stage.
