The plan was to hike into a section of the Valley of Fire I hadn’t been to and then go back to the road leading out of the park and try to redo a shot I did a few years ago. The closer it got to sunset the more I kept thinking the clouds looked special. So I decided to stay put and just enjoy it in hopes of something cool. It ended up being one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve ever seen.
