Shipwrecks in the Outer Banks of NC are nothing new, even the infamous pirate Black Beard is known to have wrecked off the shores of NC, but they obviously happen less frequently. So when I remembered a fishing vessel had became stranded out there and washed up near shore I knew this might be my only Chance to shoot a shipwreck like that. So we scoped it out on the way down hwy 12 and started planning when to shoot it. What better time to shoot it then under the first SuperMoon of the decade. *sidenote this is not an abandoned ship and there are plans to retrieve it so any trespassing is a federal crime.
