The past few weeks I have been stressed preparing for my upcoming show (a few tickets are still available), making sure I made my deadlines at work and fulfilling other commitments. I took a moment to ask myself what did I use to do this past to help calm myself down and remembered I use to jump rope. Jumping rope takes my mind off situations and forces/reminds me to breath. If you don’t control your breathing jumping rope, you will pass out (speaking from experience lol) Mind you, I have not actively jumped rope in about 10 years so I am rusty lol. I sent this video to a friend of mine she replies with “wtf!?! You haven’t jumped rope in 10 years and that’s what you look like? Rusty you is a beast. I don’t even want to imagine what you look like at full force”. The story behind how I am semi good at jumping rope always makes me laugh when I think about it.
