I always say June is LGBTQ+ exploitation month. I am happy that companies are showing support for the community, but sometimes it is taken overboard. If you’re gonna exploit someone’s sexuality for that month, give them a benefit. If your gonna slap rainbows on your products for that month, donate a percentage of the profits to a LGBTQ+ charity. Real talk, that’s really how you show support. Once July comes around, the rainbow flags are replaced with the American flag and the LGBTQ+ employee goes back to being your average employee.
