When you develop a consistent meditation practice, layers of identity begin to fall away like the peel of an onion skin.
You realize that though on one level, you may be an engineer, or a mother, or a cheese-lover. Down deeper you're actually none of those things. Down deeper you’re something so profound and inexplicable that when you see it, you may burst into tears of joy.
Lots of beautiful experiences come when you meditate. But don’t get charmed by them. Keep going layer by layer until you find out who you really are.
