Reflecting on Juneteenth, a celebration of Black American liberation, with gratitude for the artists and the powerful expressions of resilience and identity from our "Black Atlantic" exhibition. This show, curated by huthhayden, explored the cultural and historical connections of the African diaspora, featuring stunning works by babiryesculptor, dozie.kanu, taulewis, and kiyanwilliams. Each piece offered a profound narrative on freedom, identity, and the enduring spirit of Black communities. 🌊 Installation views of #BlackAtlantic Photos: Nicholas Knight, Courtesy of Public Art Fund, NY Presented by Public Art Fund at Brooklyn Bridge Park, New York City, May 17 – November 27, 2022 (Artwork credits in the comments)
