And our last (but, definitely not least) senior shout out is… 🎓Congratulation, Karl! Karl has been a dedicated member of the team since his freshman year, where he rowed through covid times, going out in singles and erging outside and on zoom calls. His sophmore year Karl worked hard and made the infamous 2v place 4th at Stotesbury and SRAAs. In his junior year, he had an amazing season, one race in particular where he qualified for the finals at Mid-Atlantics, an intense race where he finished a commendable 7th. In his senior year, Karl made the 1v and won gold at SHOP and Walter Mess regatta. Karl is an amazing teammate. He is caring, reliable, and ready to give advice to any underclassmen, especially his little brother, Klemens. Karl can always be seen at the boathouse joking around with his friends and keeping the team together. Next year, Karl will be heading to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where we know he will excel both academically and in his future endeavors. Best ...
