After I shared my first baked steel cut oats, I realized I needed to create a vegan version for my plant-based friends! These vegan steel cut oats are just as tasty as the original but with no egg or dairy milk required! The applesauce is a great egg replacement so I leaned into it and added chopped apples and cinnamon to this version. It’s so tasty! . Just a reminder- this version is for steel cut oats. You’ll find the steps for regular baked oatmeal there! . 3/4 cup steel cut oats 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups almond milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup applesauce 1 small apple, cored and diced Instructions Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
