HAPPY FIRST DAY OF NATIONAL PA WEEK! My name is Ashton Dear (dear__ashton), president of the class of MPA ‘22, and I will be taking over the evmsedu Instagram account today! Pa week is ALWAYS the week of October 6th, because that was when the very first PA class graduated back in 1967! Interesting enough, October 6th is also coincidentally Dr Eugene Stead’s birthday, who is the founder of our beloved profession!! Every year this week is to take the extra time to celebrate the profession and all that it as done for the healthcare world. I personally am proud to wear this white coat and to have the opportunity to work towards something as fulfilling and meaningful as being a PA.
