☕️ If we were having coffee I’d tell you... . That our house suddenly looks “normal” again. The trio of little ones were reunited with their family today, and our house is oddly quiet. Even though there are fewer pairs of shoes by the door and no Lucky Charms under the table, our house feels different. Changed, in a good way. Having those kids here was hard but it was wonderful in a way I didn’t expect. . I cried every day for the past 6 days. Tears of sadness, joy, frustration, or exhaustion. I cried in the Target parking lot twice. (And once in the shampoo aisle.) . I still cry when I think about how our friends and family loved on these kids so much, even in such a short amount of time. My heart feels so full. . It’s hard to say goodbye, but we’re glad this story has a good ending and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter will bring. ❤️ . #fostercare #fosterparenting #fosterparents
