@evmsedu
I want to thank everyone who has reached out from the EVMS community, our faculty and guest lecturers, our patients, and our students for such a successful week of addiction education. Stay tuned for an article about the lecture series, which was really so much more than that, in the EVMS Pulse! Also look out for the series to be available for Category I CME credit in the coming months. If you have questions about identifying and treating patients suffering from opioid addiction, just ask someone from the MPA Class of 2019. I’m hearing a lot of great feedback about their level of confidence in treating these patients, and we hope they have plenty of opportunities to share with you on their last few clinical rotations and as they enter the workforce this summer. I strongly believe we achieved our goal of instilling a sense of empowerment in our students to be part of the solution. Here are some photos of our last day including Marlana Webster, PsyD, LCP, teaching the students progress...
