Here is my Day 2 update from the PA Program’s “Kenneth LeGree Hallman, MD Memorial Lecture Series: Patient-Centered Approach to Identification and Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder.” I have to start with Dr. Stephanie Peglow from EVMS Psychiatry, who stole the show with her sing-along pneumonic for substance use disorder specifiers 🎤 Students also completed and presented group assignments to reinforce the ASAM criteria for adult levels of care. Now we all know how to connect our patients with the appropriate resources in the local area and beyond.
