One of the great aspects about clinical year as an SA student is having the opportunity to work with some of your classmates and friends! In the role of the SA, it is imperative to study the upcoming case prior to entering the OR in order to efficiently anticipate the surgeon throughout the procedure. During our Cardiac surgery rotation, the SA is expected to review the patient’s films along with their H&P.
