We know that taking a break from the ice during the off- season can be stressful as a player. You feel like you’re not getting better if you’re not on the ice. If that’s you then think about what the professional players do. During the off-season, they focus on strength and conditioning. Many players don’t get back on the ice until after 4-6 weeks of dryland training. Then they will often train on the ice a few times a week for the rest of the off-season.
