Do you know how Musang started? 🤔 🌒🌓🌔 Many moons ago, Ate Mel came home to Seattle to find that her beloved Beacon Hill didn't look quite like the home she was used to. During her time as sous chef at Bar del Corso, she found a way to revive some of the vibrant Filipinx American culinary landscape that had faded in Seattle over the years. The Musang pop ups that started just down the road from where we are now were what helped us build our vision. It's where many of our #musangfam met each other. It's how we exchanged stories of our memories, which would turn into recipes that everyone could enjoy. One pop up turned into another... ✨ then a series of brunches with Musang... 🤩 until it was time to find a home of our own, right here where it all began. Opening our space was a homecoming 🏠 We've been long rooted in this neighborhood -- even before Musang was what it is today. As for what we'll become?
