This was definitely a big moment for me. It feels good to get some love from my hometown. Super surreal, I remember when I was still a kid listening to @officialslumvillage workin in the basement. All the way from highschool rappin they songs to even touring with them during my career reppin the legacy. So to be able to share this moment with @t3slum & @youngrj313 was a special moment. And speaking of touring…on my first tour ever in 2007 with @aloeblacc @exileradio & @houseshoes in Europe is actually where I discovered @officialjackwhite music.. White Stripes video was playing on the tv in my hotel room, and I just remember I couldn’t get it out of my head. So when I got to Berlin for my off days, I went to buy White Stripes - Elephant album and I had that album on repeat for the rest of the tour and it’s still in my rotation.
