I used to think that i would build some great philanthropic endeavor and that would be my legacy. That changed when in an endearing conversation, my Mom said to me “your legacy is every life you’ve touched” It shifted something in me… We like to think the great philanthropic moments are the ones that make the real difference in the world but it’s really what you do everyday…it’s how you use your life to be a light to someone else’s. It’s how you use your work as an expression of your own art… whatever that is I’ve learned that Everyone you’ve smiled at, everyone who has seen and experienced your voice, people who’ve seen you laugh, seen you cry, people you’ve inspired to keep going because of who you are… that’s your real legacy #LivingandLearning #RebuildingTheBeast
