Me and the bar at Hayward Field🤞🤞 After I got hit with some achilles pain at regionals, I really wasn’t sure how this year was going to end. So every time I took off the ground and the bar stayed up, I felt so grateful. I didn’t accomplish everything I’d hoped for in the NCAA, but I think when you dream big that you will inevitably fall short. I’m happy to go out swinging and have some luck on my side. Unfortunately, I’ve decided not to compete at the Olympic Trials. While I’m sad that I will be losing another shot to compete for an Olympic team, I know that in order to keep chasing big bars I need give myself time to heal.
