‼️ This is a crucial test AND a means to stimulate the CNS for the Snatch Power test. ‼️ Max Height Box Jump Goal: Re-Test Hip Speed If you look at a well executed max effort box jump, from the perspective of the legs and torso, it looks a lot like a power clean. This type of max effort will test your ability to accelerate the hips in a coordinated way because you have to pull your legs back up after extension to land on top of the box. Engage the posterior chain and push the floor away as aggressively as possible. Notes: It should be obvious that you do not get a running, or stepping start here. Start in your standing power clean position.
